So, I wanted to give a career update.
At the beginning of the year, I left my job at Wikipedia to join a news startup called MTTR.
I’ve spent that time working with the MTTR team to design and plan the app.
One thing I learned over this period was that not every startup needs an in-house tech team. About halfway through, I pivoted from building our own team to working with agency partners to build our stack.
It was fun and interesting, but I found myself less and less relevant. So, I stepped away from the company at the end of July. I’ve started a new CTO role that I’ll post about soon.
I’m very supportive of MTTR’s team, founders and mission. I’m looking forward to the world seeing what we designed.
